On July 23rd and 24th, 2011, over 200 practitioners from around the world attended the 4th Conference of the TCM Gynecology Committee of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine in Yantai City in Shandong Province, China. Close to 150 papers and articles were exchanged, presenting the newest, most cutting edge research on TCM gynecology. Dr Wang was one of only a few chosen to speak at the conference, reporting on acupuncture and the treatment of menopause.
The conference went off without a hitch and was successful in its goal of making progress the field of TCM gynecology. The Committee also took the opportunity to elect new executive members and we are pleased to announce that Dr. Wang will continue in her role as an executive member.
